No one really asked these questions, but I'm guessing if someone did have a question to ask, it might be one of these. If your imaginary question isn't here, feel free to shoot me a non-imaginary email.
Why "Late To The Party?"
I came up with it during a "name my new blog" brain storming session. I can't really remember the train of thought, but at that time it felt super significant. I was living out my teenaged rebellion in my 20's. I constantly felt one step behind and, obviously, I was also a tad emo. "Late to the Party" fit.
Now? I think it fits my social awkwardness and love of desserts. Yeah. We'll go with that explanantion.

Wait. Who is Roxanne?
I started this blog with a friend named Roxanne. She never blogged too much and then quit blogging entirely and then quit being my friend entirely. Most of her blogs have been removed from here, just because they weren't relevant to what LttP is now. References to her are scattered around however and my gmail still has her name in it. I'll change that. Eventually.
Is your name really Lorraine?
No. I started this blog anonymously, and even though I've relaxed those standards, I've introduced myself to the Interwebs as Lorraine and that's how I shall remain. Think of it as a pen name. Also, most of the people I talk about on here get a nickname. It's tradition.
Roxanne made it up. We were in a different city on our way to meet friends we hadn't seen in a long time. We were just a little social anxietied. We were both trying to talk ourselves out of it, trying to remember that we were girls completely capable of being social. Roxanne came up with the idea of "naming" our social, fun loving sides. She got Roxanne. I got Lorraine. We stuck with those names when we later decided to blog anonymously.
Isn't your real name [name redacted]?
No. Maybe. Stop it.
Don't you blog at that other blog [name redacted]?
No. Maybe. Seriously, stop it.
I once read a post by you but I can't find it anymore. What gives?
Well, I cleaned out a lot from this blog. I know that the Internet is forever, and things deleted can always be found, but it gave me peace of mind to make this space more of what I wanted it to be. Sorry I'm a bad blogger.
